Happy National Teach Children to Save Day!

Hello!

I think financial common sense is very important and I’ve been very lucky to have parents who gave me good money rules to follow. I have been saving money since I was little and have always been able to think long term ambitions over short term solutions. I’m actually a little too stingy and am pretty tight gripped when it comes to spending. Lately I’ve been more able to part with cash to get coffee, snacks, or lunch… Not the best habit to get into but it makes me put a little bit less emphasis on having so much money and more on enjoying my life. Big picture, though, goes to my future. Let’s have realistic conversations with ‘our kids’ about how to plan, what’s realistic, and what’s responsible. Credit card bills are too high and student loans are unbearable… let’s stay ahead of things and be financially stable! #realtalk
