Happy National Answer the Phone like Buddy the Elf Day!

downloadHello!

I’m slightly annoyed with Netflix that this beautiful film isn’t on live-stream but I suppose that’s okay because I basically have it memorized. If you want to speak with Buddy the Elf today make sure and call me before midnight tonight! I’ve already asked two lucky dialers what their favorite colors were but the automated ‘this is an important message about your credit card debt’ machines didn’t answer back to me. I had no choice but to hang up – son of a nutcracker! What a fun holiday, huh? These silly celebrations remind me why I started this project and, more importantly, why I keep up with it!

It’s been a busy day so far in the small window of time that I’ve been awake. I’ve been typing furiously on my laptop for about three hours between typing up budget proposals for the PSU pep band (as the treasurer apparently I actually have to do work sometimes!), writing a fashion article for a company across the world, and now getting this written up before I’m off to try on bridesmaid dresses with the crew. I can’t believe Cassie’s wedding is in 14 weeks! As stressed as I am about mine with the never ending list of things to do it’s nice to take a moment and stop being selfish so I can dote on her as she gets ready for her special day. I’m so excited to be part of it!

P.S. I’m too into ‘girly’ music with some love-lorn lady at a piano to invest myself in rock and roll but I’ve greatly enjoyed listening to The Thiefs as I have been ‘researching’ their music for this super cool promotion! They’ve dropped a new song for free download (limited time only) and it has a really high-energy, feel-good kind of groove! Check out “Good For My Age” at https://soundcloud.com/the-thiefs/the-thiefs-good-for-my-age and get your free download while you can!

P.S.S. EduTuit is an innovation in school financing with their school software and school payment system. It’s been shown to save districts thousands of dollars annually and puts the parents in charge with more responsibility to stay on top of their student’s costs. It’s a great program to look into at www.edutuit.com.
