Happy National Schwenkfelder Thanksgiving Day!

Just as our Dutch Protestant ancestors in Pennsylvania feasted to glorify God and celebrate their deliverance from persecution in 1733, so also do we feast tonight! Today, in celebratory fashion, Eric and I feasted to glorify God for the time that we still have together before the firey jaws of PDX grab me and steal me away from him for the next long while. While that’s not all true, we definitely did feast. We definitely did feast. We made the Schwenkerfelders proud!
